SUBJECT: Circus Peanuts
Hello Costco!
I am saddened to find that my beloved Circus Peanuts are no longer available at the Lynnwood Business Center Costco. How I missed those orange colored nuggets of banana flavoring. Those peanut-shaped morsels where both soft and chewy. The circus peanut is one of life’s culinary mysteries. Why are shaped like peanuts? Since they taste like bananas, shouldn’t they be shaped like a banana? And why orange? Certainly, yellow would make more sense too. Of course, if they were yellow and shaped like bananas, they would not be called circus peanuts.
I have been experimenting with other options. I have grown tired of the gummi hamburgers, as much as I enjoy disassembling them before popping them in my mouth. I have even tried eating real bananas, but t didn’t have an easy solution for discarding the peels. Plus, I read once that they gas bananas in order to get them to turn yellow. NO THANK YOU!
Please bring back my circus peanuts. My life lacks the joy it once had knowing that I had a glove box full of them (I had to put the owner’s manual in the trunk so I could fit in a few more bags).
