Will the person I send the email to be able to trace me (by IP address or otherwise)?

No. The point of RevengeMail.com is to be able to speak your mind to the people who you think need to hear it. That does not give you the right to slander, stalk, or threaten anybody. If you break the law, you can be sued or prosecuted, and your information can then be subpoenaed by a court of law.


Can my IP address be subpoenaed by a court of law?

Yes. Do not include personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers, places of business, etc.) in your email. Do not tell anybody that you're going to hurt or kill them. These are easy ways to get into trouble.


Will RevengeMail.com help me find out who is sending me anonymous emails?

No. We cannot give out users' personal information, according to our own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, without a subpoena from a court of law. Although we do not wish to have RevengeMail.com used for harmful means, we must follow the law ourselves.


If I enter my email address so that I can get responses to my anonymous email, is it hidden?

Yes. Your email address will be stored only for the purpose of letting you know when you get a response and for allowing you to send another anonymous email. Nobody will ever see your email address.


Can I send my anonymous email to more than one person?

Yes and No. You may only direct the message at one person (one email address). However, right after sending, you will have the option of sending your friends a link to the message. This will allow them to see the message that you sent, but they will not be able to respond through RevengeMail.com.


Am I able to send an anonymous text message to somebody's cell phone?

Possible. You would have to know which carrier they are with, and find out the correct email address format. We do not promote doing this because text messages are not always free, and we highly recommend that you do not abuse this service because ultimately you could be responsible for their charges.
